Yesterday was the Polefire 1st birthday pole jam and it was fucking immense! We started poling at 2:30 and finished for drinks in the bar at 6:30. It was just one huge play time so i picked what moves to do because i knew i could do them well, however i did get my Teddy Pike and learn two new moves called Teddy Ball and Table Top which i got first time! I also got my fucking Jade! And attempted my Brass Monkey which is almost there. After we hammered the pole we went and got hammered like true metal polers. Sara came up with the brilliant idea of going to find a club with a pole and we found out that Yates had one, so we packed up all our stuff and headed on down only to be told that we could not pole because it was a ‘family night’ even though the place was practically empty and we clearly were not strippers. So after leaving there we found a nice little street pole right outside their window and decided to show them what they were missing! The entire place came and sat by the window to watch us and it was hilarious. Me and Miiik went to the Gay Village to find a proper club with proper poles and found Queer, but it did not open until midnight so we all just went back to our pole home and carried on drinking. By 11pm there were only four of us left and we stayed at GC until closing and then went on to Queer and completely owned the poles for two hours. Some guy slapped my arse so hard whilst i was doing a move i actually yelped and then he gave me a kiss on the cheek and tried to chat me up which was pretty gross, but there were some other lovely guys and women there that wanted us to teach them stuff which was pretty funny. I am bruised to fuck, ripped off one nail, broke another and i can hardly move, but it was a fucking brilliant night. I LOVE POLEFIRE!
